All of the children at Sunrise Montessori School are considered as a family. They have been taught to treat everyone with respect. My daughter came home one day, and while telling me about her day said “We have a new friend today, his name was Andrew. We are all friends”. I truly believe that they are all friends. I have personally witnessed this whenever I arrive to pick my daughter up at the end of the day. I have noticed that all of the children will play with one another and in addition to that, the teacher will be joining in as well. There is a friendly atmosphere between all.

To me social interaction plays an important role in learning. I find my child a sociable and happy child whenever I arrive there to pick him up. He would come home to tell us about the interaction between his peers and himself. This is very encouraging as it creates opportunities to practice social skills both individually and in groups. It also increased self-esteem. I find my child knows how to share and is always saying kind things to us. That really impressed me. Generally, the classroom teacher has acted as a model. She has taught with enthusiasm and passion. Thereafter also showing a positive attitude. The teacher uses childrens interest to involve them in all areas of activities.

The student body is something I didn't notice at first. But once my son started participating and paying more attention at school. I quickly realized that he was surrounded by a group of children that are all excited to be there. They are a big school with many students and multiple floors. The kids are taught valuable lessons which encourage them to treat each other with respect. He made friends with his entire class. Although my son was very shy, he was accepted by his classmates and he has many friends. He values the friendships he has at Sunrise Montessori School. It always has positive vibes in the classrooms. Even during the moments when they are learning new concepts, you can just feel the positive energy in the room and all the eager with their curious minds.

The children have developed a sense of family within their own classrooms. They are always welcoming of other students and will always include others within their social circle. It is very important for me to find my daughter happy and socializing with her friends. It is through this social interaction with others that will help her grow as an individual. In addition to that, it also teaches them important skills such as turn taking, sharing, empathy, communication and confidence. My daughter has always been shy prior to starting school, always sticking to me when in public. However, after starting school, I have noticed a big change in my daughter's personality. She is always sharing her stories about her day and her playing with all of her friends. I am very grateful to the teachers and for them in instilling these values into my daughter and helping her to overcome her shyness.

The diversity found at Sunrise Montessori School consists of various ethnicities. This allows for the children to thrive and grow. In addition to that, the children are able to feel accepted while being challenged and encouraged to be their very best. All of the children are provided with various opportunities to build long-term relationships with their friends and teachers. My daughter has made so many friends over the past year who have shared common interests with her. The atmosphere of the student body comprises of, respect, empathy, confidence, and leadership. I have personally witnessed older children assisting those who are younger than them. In addition to that, I have also seen past students who have came back to visit their old teachers. The joy and happiness expressed between the teacher and child really portrays the bond that has developed over time. This also shows how much love the teacher has for her students.
