Overnight Summer Debate Camp in Vancouver

FDT has run successful day-time debate camps for local students during Spring, Winter, and Summer for the past 7 years. This brand-new overnight camp will provide students from beyond Vancouver with the opportunity to learn at one of Canada's best debate schools and participate in an in-person, immersive experience that includes custom debate classes and fun local excursions after class.

July 16th - 21st, 2023

Location

Vancouver, BC

Students will stay in single or double-occupancy dormitory rooms at the Vanier Residence on the beautiful UBC campus, with adult chaperones on-site. The residence will include student lounges, refrigerators, and microwaves for students to use. 

Cost

This package price includes:

• 30 hours’ worth of Debate lessons
• Private shuttle transportation throughout the week
• Accommodation in dormitories located on the UBC campus
• 3 meals per day
• Afternoon excursions
• Camp facilitators and chaperones on-site for 24 hours
