NEW! Medics will journey into a different area of medicine where doctors and scientists specialize in identifying and analyzing microscopic clues to help solve crimes. Think of them as doctor detectives! Medics CSI (crime scene investigators) will explore forensic pathology, odontology (teeth), entomology (insects), anthropology (bones) as well as DNA, blood basics and dactyloscopy (fingerprints). Throughout the week, Medics will be presented with team challenges where they will use their problem solving skills and attention to detail to successfully complete each activity. Younger Medics will be learning topics related to animals not humans.
At the end of the week Medics CSIs will use what they've learned to solve a non violent crime.
Note: This theme week is not intended to be scary. Every effort has been made to present the information and activities in a kid friendly way but if your child is particularly sensitive our Discover and Explore camps would be a better fit.
