Medics Camp-Explore theme-RHL1

Explore the world of medical science, health and the human body.  In this version of Medics Camp we will explore the nervous system, how the brain works, mental health, pet health and veterinary medicine.  We will take a journey beginning in your mouth where you smell and taste your food and and then follow the food as it goes through your digestive system.  Junior Medics will even be making poop! (not real of course) We will learn how our eyes and ears work and use our doctor skills to test our senses, learn sign language and create our names using the braille alphabet.  Skin is the largest organ in the body.  Medics will learn about it and the sense of touch, types of anesthesia and how it works and then practice their surgical skills.  Activities will vary based on age group.
