More details on the SLI preschool program (currently virtual):

Sidney Ledson Institute’s Preschool Program is designed to prepare students with the critical academic and socio-emotional abilities needed to pursue enriched Kindergarten programs. Participants in the program work on the fundamentals of numeracy (to facilitate transition into exploring the six strands of Ontario curriculum math, including Financial Literacy), as well as phonetic articulation and semantic strategy; they are guided through reading with the renowned Ledson method and are engaged in comprehension exercises. Furthermore, members of the program connect with their friends and teacher in engaging guided group discussions about topics spanning a variety of subjects, including but not exclusive to Science, History, Story-Telling, Character Skills, Life Skills, and International Themes
