Our beginner programmers will have a blast learning computer science fundamentals with these fun and engaging game projects. Create amazing games, animated images and songs in the Scratch Programming language, one of the friendliest programming languages ever created. Kids learn the skill of solving interesting problems and making cool things with the help of a computer. Kids learn to program with Dash and Dot, toy robots that make coding fun using apps on iPads.

This course aims to teach everyone Advanced Scratch/Robotics and basics of programming computers using Python. Start coding in the programming language Python; Reuse and share code with Object-Oriented Programming. Create and share amazing, life-hacking projects!

Scratch is a programming language and an online community where children can program and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animation with people from all over the world. As children create with Scratch, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically. Scratch is designed and maintained by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab.

Take on coding challenges and make your own programs for Dash & Dot using Blockly. Transform Dot into an alarm, play tag with Dash, or use Dot to control Dash. Programming lets you turn your silliest or most ambitious ideas into reality.

Python is a powerful, expressive programming language that’s easy to learn and fun to use! As you strike out on your programming adventure, you’ll learn how to:

  • Use fundamental data structures like lists, tuples, and maps
  • Organize and reuse your code with functions and modules
  • Use control structures like loops and conditional statements
  • Draw shapes and patterns with Python’s turtle module
  • Create games, animations, and other graphical wonders with tkinter
