(5) Student Experience
She loves going to school. She loves the activities, the kids and the teachers. She begs me every morning, even on the weekends, to go to school.
(5) School Leadership
Problems and questions are always responded to promptly. I have seen the teachers discipline students and it has always been in a patient, effective way. The students are never centered out or embarrassed in front of their peers.
(5) Teaching
I have never seen a group of teaches that work so nicely together. It is clear they love their job and the kids. They are always patient and understanding.
(5) Academics
They teach to your child’s level not necessarily just the grade. If they need more time on a lesson they are given it. Likewise if they excel in an area they are given more challenging work. The students are given every opportunity to succeed.
(5) Extracurriculars
Since my daughter is only in the toddler program and entering casa next year, we have not had the opportunity to participate in a lot of extra extra curriculars. However, they do offer lots of activities outside of class times. For ex: a family skating afternoon, family bbq, etc.
(5) Students
All the kids interact well. The older kids help the younger and the younger look up to the older. The class sizes are small and intimate. There is a great level of respect amongst all ages.
(5) School Life
My daughter absolutely loves Clanmore. She has been to another program and cried almost every day when I dropped her off. At Clanmore, even on the first day, she smiled and waved bye to me and was happy to go with the teachers. The teachers come to your home before school starts to meet the students so they are comfortable with them from the first day. Amazing experience.
(5) Community
Parents receive emails frequently updating them about different things that are happening at the school. Even advice on illness. The parent committee invited all parents to every meeting to participate.
(5) School Location
The school is in a residential area that has parks and trails close by. The older grades begin their day with a daily walk. What a great way to start their day.
