(5) Student Experience
My child loves the school environment, teachers and students. There is a lot of creative learning in the JK and SK classes. She is able to share learning opportunities with other grades and be able to grow from the guidance of her peers. The school has brought on a new curriculum this year which is focused on a brilliant way of learning. A more hands-on approach that enables my child to continue to be her creative self. At the end of JK, she had begun reading, and her French was fantastic. She is very interested in mathematical problem solving and science experiments. I am very impressed with the amount of resources that Dawncrest is able to provide and continue to evolve. My daughter also loves the amount of time spent learning outside, which is extremely important at any age.
Why Dawncrest Academy?
We chose Dawncrest because of the values that are held within the school. The passion for the students' learning experience and making sure that the kids are prepared for the real world. They are working towards something, and not just sitting in a classroom doing nothing. After meeting our principal, I felt very confident in our decision to choose Dawncrest.
Expectations vs. Reality
I wanted my child to have an education where she would learn all the skills of life, and learn the academics behind it too. Dawncrest fulfills this expectation of learning and being able to use those skills in the real world. I wanted a combination of allowing my child to be creative and explore and also learn fundamentals. Dawncrest has exceeded these expectations by continuing to create new opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Your Advice
