Crawford Adventist Academy hosted its first ever Virtual Year-End Concert - Pass the Test on June 27, 2020. A collaboration of the Music Department and the Alumni Association, the virtual concert featured the High School, Junior High, Elementary and Alumni Choirs as well as the High School and Junior High Bands. The event also raised an infusion of funds in support of the Music Department and Annuals Funds to help the school stay resilient in the face of the pandemic.
It was a beautiful celebration culminating an academic year interrupted by a global pandemic that demanded the cancellation of all on-campus events - including many time-honoured traditions such as graduation, concerts, major fundraising events and alumni weekend. Students, parents, families, administration, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and constituents joined in from around the world to mark this milestone event.
Christopher Simmonds, Honoured Class of 2000, current principal of CARE Elementary School, shared a powerful charge to encourage the Class of 2020 and all viewers. The event received over 2,214 views on YouTube and over 3,205 on Facebook.
