Claren Academy, a new elementary school opening in Yaletown in September 2017 will be offering its first round of admissions at the beginning of February. In order to schedule a family interview and play evaluation for mid-January, families may submit an application by December 20th.
Claren Academy will be offering Kindergarten to Grade Two in our first year, adding a grade each year up to Grade 12. Children born between 2010 and 2012 may apply for the 2017 school year. Admissions are offered on a rolling basis, and students will be waitlisted once our classes are full.
Our curriculum offers a unique mix of technology and creativity, with a focus on the skills this generation will actually need when they graduate around 2030. With mixed-age classes and a ratio of 1:15 teachers to students, our children will receive individualized lessons tailored to their skills and interests.
