Claren Academy, Vancouver's new technology and creativity focused elementary school, opened its doors on September 5th with kindergarten to grade two. Now staff are eager to show off the new space at an Open House on October 15th! The school is accepting applications for kindergarten to grade two for this school year, and kindergarten to grade three for September 2018. Adding a grade each year, Claren Academy will expand all the way to grade twelve.
The first month of school has been a great success, with students exploring the neighbourhoods of Vancouver, starting their personalized learning plans, and testing out exciting tools like virtual reality, various apps, and good old-fashioned ukeleles! Besides strong foundations in academics and technology, a focus on social and emotional learning makes our classroom a welcoming, warm place to be, and we look forward to meeting potential new students!
