WILD Wednesday

Starting in September, we will be introducing a new 'day' to our schedule called W.I.L.D. Wednesdays!

This day allows and encourages independent and flexible learning. Our hope is that it will provide a bridge between the regular classroom and the at-home learning of the pandemic, while offering an opportunity to engage in learning that reflects that of a University, with the supervision of a high school classroom. It will help foster and facilitate more project-based learning, independent learning skills, and the ability to easily plan out of classroom field trips, school activities and service opportunities. This day will assist in our mission of providing students of diverse abilities and interests to become all they can be both in and out of the classroom. In addition to excellent academic, athletic, and social opportunities, all MCI students will now experience regular hands-on learning opportunities. 

We’re excited to build flexibility into our schedule while helping our students learn in creative ways.
