As a proud parent, I am delighted to share my experience with Scholars Hall, which has been a great place of learning for my daughters. Both of my daughters started their journey in Scholars Hall from Junior Kindergarten and they are currently in grades 5 and 7. Over the years, my family and I have been amazed at the positive impact this school has had on my daughters' academic progress and personal growth. First and foremost, my children love Scholars Hall. They have developed a strong bond with the school, their teachers, and their classmates. The positive learning environment of the school is very encouraging and promotes a love for learning. The teachers are excellent in their teaching methods and engage the students in various activities to make learning fun and interesting. Scholars Hall truly emphasizes the needs of every individual student, recognizing that each child has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. Teachers make sure that every child's needs are met, and they put a lot of effort into building trust and rapport among their students. This has helped my daughters to feel comfortable and confident in their learning environment. The dedication of the teachers at Scholars Hall is outstanding. They are truly invested in their students' education and push them to reach higher goals. The school offers a challenging curriculum that encourages students to strive for excellence, and the teachers are always willing to provide additional support for those who are struggling. My daughters have benefited from this support and it has helped them to achieve their academic goals. What I appreciate the most about Scholars Hall is the healthy school environment. The school fosters a sense of community, where students are respectful and supportive of each other. The school also places a strong emphasis on physical health and well-being, which is reflected in the various programs and initiatives that they offer. In conclusion, my family and I have had an exceptional experience at Scholars Hall. The school has been instrumental in shaping my daughters' education and personal growth. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a positive learning environment, dedicated teachers, and a supportive community.

(5) School Leadership

Scholars Hall's leadership and administration exhibit an amazing dedication to the kids. Scholars Hall establishes a school climate to provide an environment that is conducive to learning. The school articulates a shared vision so that all staff members work towards a common goal and establish coherence. They hold students accountable for their actions but at the same time, support and empower students. The dynamic at the school is amazing to witness and nothing is ever getting missed. Any worries or concerns are addressed right away.

(5) Teaching

Every single teacher my daughters had throughout the years was always extremely impressive. Teachers provide both a great mix of listening, speaking, and practical learning activities and a very safe, supportive learning environment. As a student, you feel pushed to learn and try out new competencies, feel safe and supported in doing so, and gain valuable feedback that helps you to improve. Each child is treated individually and evaluated. For example, our older daughter was reading and writing so well in JK that she was moved to grade 2 for language. Our younger daughter was struggling at school. It was discovered in grade 2 that she has a serious vision problem. Her teacher at the time took it upon herself to help her out after she received her prescription glasses and was spending 30 minutes after school with her so she could catch up to her classmates in reading. That took over 6 months of their little meetings and my daughter now loves to read. Seeing her with the book, cozied up while she eats breakfast melts my heart. I will be forever grateful for the amount of dedication and love and compassion shown to her during that difficult time.

(5) Academics

The academic program at Scholars Hall is excellent and tailored to individuals' needs. Establishing a life-long work ethic is an integral part of the Scholars’ Hall educational approach. Homework and study skills, as well as organizational strategies, are all incorporated into every subject promoting and encouraging each student to develop their own personal work ethic. Scholars’ Hall is the only school, public or private, in all of the Waterloo Region to provide everyday homework appropriate to expected learning potential levels. In this kind of environment, students will naturally progress much faster and acquire a much better educational foundation. At Scholars’ Hall, there is a consistent focus and expectation to produce work of a high personal standard. Scholars’ Hall takes its educational responsibilities so seriously that Fridays are “stay till it’s done day”. The teachers will actually remain after dismissal on a Friday until every student has, not only, completed all of their assigned work, but they will make sure that it is done appropriate to the student’s assessed potential. Scholars’ Hall provides students the opportunity, the knowledge, the independent skills, and the strength of character to be successful in University and in their chosen careers. Scholars’ Hall prepares today’s Children to become Tomorrow’s Leading Citizens.

(5) Extracurriculars

There are so many extracurricular activities at Scholars Hall, each student can find something that they will be interested in. Every school year starts with a list of clubs that the kids can join. I will name just a few: running club, yoga club, French club, geek squad, math club, etc. My girls always participate in a few and always thoroughly enjoy it. Extracurricular activities are a huge learning experience as well as guidance to develop in each student a knowledge of their own personal worth. Even though different extracurricular activities are highly educating they are presented in some fun way and aim to develop an awareness of the potential kids have been given – to awaken the drive to use that potential.

Finally, the fact that the students get along so well speaks volumes about the values that Scholar's Hall instills in its students.
