(4.5) Overall Experience

My experience at Canada Nord Academy was very positive, especially because I completed my studies through the eSchool learning format. The online format gave me flexibility in managing my own study schedule, while the school still provided clear academic structure and regular support. One thing I particularly appreciated was the way my previous studies and credits were assessed. The credit assessment was systematic and clear, and the course recommendations were not simply based on the credits I needed to complete. The school also considered my academic strengths and areas for improvement, as well as my future study plans, when advising me on course selection. Throughout my studies, I also had regular communication with the academic and administrative teams. When I had questions or encountered difficulties, I was able to get help in a timely manner. The teachers provided detailed feedback on my assignments and assessments, which helped me understand where I could improve. Overall, I felt that Canada Nord Academy provided a good balance between independent online learning and personalized academic support. I graduated in 2026 and will be continuing my studies at King’s College London, and I feel well prepared for this next stage of my education.

Looking Back

Looking back, what stands out most to me is how well the school combined the flexibility of online learning with regular academic support. Even though I was studying remotely, I never felt that I was completely on my own. The communication with the school and teachers made the learning experience much more structured and reassuring.

Current Perspective

Now that I have graduated and am preparing to start university, I appreciate the academic guidance I received even more. At the time, I mainly focused on completing my courses, but looking back, I can see how important the school’s advice on course selection and academic planning was in preparing me for my future studies.

Your Advice

My advice would be to discuss your future study plans with the school as early as possible. If you are considering eSchool learning, you should also be prepared to manage your time independently. The flexibility is a great advantage, but having a clear study schedule and communicating with your teachers when you need help will make the experience much easier.

(4.5) School Leadership

The administration at Canada Nord Academy was professional and responsive throughout my studies. As an eSchool student, regular communication was particularly important, and I found the academic and administrative teams easy to reach when I had questions or needed clarification. I appreciated that the school did not treat my academic pathway as a one-size-fits-all process. My previous studies and credits were carefully reviewed, and the guidance I received took into account my academic strengths, areas for improvement and future study plans. When I encountered questions or issues during my studies, the school responded in a timely manner and helped me understand what I needed to do next. Although I studied online, I still felt connected to the school and supported by the administration. The clear communication and organized academic guidance made the overall learning process much easier to manage.

(5) Teaching

I was very satisfied with the quality of teaching at Canada Nord Academy. Although I completed my studies through eSchool, I found the teachers approachable and supportive when I needed academic guidance. What I appreciated most was the detailed feedback provided on my assignments and assessments. The feedback was not limited to a grade; it helped me understand what I had done well and where I could improve. When I had questions about course content or assignments, I was able to communicate with my teachers and receive clarification. The teachers also maintained clear academic expectations, which helped me become more independent and responsible for my own learning. The combination of structured coursework, detailed feedback and timely support made the online learning experience much more effective than simply studying independently.

(5) Academics

I found the academic program at Canada Nord Academy to be well structured and particularly suitable for students who need a flexible learning environment. As an eSchool student, I had to take responsibility for managing my own study schedule, but the courses provided clear expectations and structured assignments and assessments. One of the biggest strengths for me was the academic planning and credit assessment. The school carefully reviewed my previous academic background and credits rather than simply applying a standard pathway. When recommending courses, the academic team considered my strengths and areas for improvement as well as my future study plans. This made the course selection more meaningful and helped me build an academic pathway that was appropriate for my goals. I also appreciated the quality of teacher feedback. Assignments were assessed carefully, and the feedback helped me understand both what I was doing well and where I could improve. When I had academic questions, I could also get clarification and support in a timely manner. Looking back now that I have graduated, I feel that this combination of academic structure, flexibility and individualized guidance prepared me well for my next step at King’s College London.

(4) School Life

My experience of school life was different from that of a traditional in-person student because I completed my studies through eSchool. I appreciated the flexibility of online learning and the ability to organize my study schedule around my own needs. Although I did not experience the day-to-day campus environment or student activities in the same way as an on-campus student, I still felt connected to the school through regular communication with the academic and administrative teams. Having access to teachers and support when I needed it made the online experience feel much more structured and engaging. For students who value flexibility and independence, I think the eSchool format can be a very good option. Students who are looking for a traditional campus social experience, however, should understand that the online experience is naturally different.

(4.5) Admissions

My experience with the admission and academic planning process was straightforward and well supported. One thing I particularly appreciated was that the school took the time to review my previous academic background and credits before determining my pathway, rather than treating the process as simply completing an application. The communication with the school was clear, and I was able to ask questions when I was unsure about academic requirements or the next steps. The guidance on course selection was also connected to my longer-term study plans, which gave me more confidence in the pathway I was choosing. My advice to prospective students would be to provide the school with complete academic information and discuss your future study plans as early as possible. This allows the academic team to give more appropriate advice about credits and course selection.

(4.5) University placement and counselling

The academic guidance I received was helpful in preparing me for university, particularly in terms of planning my high school courses around my future academic direction. The school considered my previous academic performance, strengths and areas for improvement when recommending courses, rather than focusing only on completing the required credits. I found this especially valuable because I already had a clear goal for my next stage of education. The academic team considered my future plans when discussing course selection, which helped me build a more appropriate pathway toward university. As I prepare to continue my studies at King’s College London after graduating in 2026, I can see the value of having this guidance early in my high school studies. It helped me understand that course selection is not just about meeting graduation requirements, but also about building a suitable foundation for university. For students considering Canada Nord Academy, I would recommend discussing your university plans with the school as early as possible so that your academic pathway can be planned accordingly.
