Hudson College is very proud to announce that on Wednesday, May 21 our high school soccer team earned its second consecutive silver medal at the Small Schools Athletic Federation (SSAF) city championships. Our Huskies placed second out of the fourteen competing teams overall. Congratulations goes to all the players who participated on Wednesday and through their hard work, determination and after a long full-day tournament had an excellent result. After playing six games in one day, the team finished off with four victories, one draw and one tie. Seven different players scored goals during the tournament including Odera, David, Santiago, Ammar, Jacob, Tom, and Alex. Excellent defense was mounted by Jan and Manuel, with strong goal-tending from Cole. Our team not only challenged for the city championship, but also had a lot of fun competing. Excellent coaching and support also helped contribute to the success of our team. Go Huskies!
