The transition from school to university brings a range of new experiences and challenges and our alumnae showed up in record numbers recently to share their experiences with current senior students.
“Our goal is for our alumnae to eventually come back here as presenters to the next generation of HNMCS Stars”, said Head of School, Marilena Tesoro.
Alexandra Romanski '15, who is currently at Queen’s studying Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Calculus and Latin, conducted a workshop for senior science students this week and had a lot of tips for the girls including holding on to all their science notes because she refers to hers regularly and they have helped her with university course content. Alex gave credit to the teachers at HNMCS for setting high expectations. Thanks to the preparation received here at HNMCS she has had a smooth transition with exemplary academic grades in her first year. Read more.
