AvH had the great privilege to welcome two players of the Germany Women's National Under-20 Soccer Team. Pauline Bremer and Felicitas Rauch along with a great former player from the German National Team, Stephanie Jones, answered questions from students, scored some goals and signed autographs! There were many AvH supporters at the finals, thanks to the generosity of the German Consulate General in Montreal and Ombrelle the official sun protection partner of the Canadian Soccer Association! Quite a few free tickets were offered to AvH students, parents and staff. AvH congratulates the team for becoming world champions. The students and staff at AvH are strong supporters of soccer and many students play soccer in teams in and outside of school. We now already look forward to the FIFA Women’s World Cup which will also take place in Canada in summer 2015!
