Looking Back on September

Hello Everyone in the Keystone Community,

It has been a busy September and first few days of October. The energetic team of teachers are doing tremendous work. They are focused, dedicated and the results are evident in student achievements. Kameka has been volunteering her time at the school to help students in English. As a result of her energy and the good rapport the students have with her, I’ve seen tremendous improvement.

During September there was a trip to Woodbine Beach, waffle breakfast, visit to a local business, outdoor classes, participation in CanHack at Ryerson University and the Ontario Universities' Fair at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The student body has benefited from visits to Keystone by guest speakers including a successful businesswoman and consultant/therapist who delivered a presentation on depression, self-understanding and mindfulness.

We are doing everything we can to support student learning and make their experience here as valuable as possible.
