U10 Soccer
On Tuesday May 16 and Wednesday May 17, U10 students participated in Tier 1 and Tier 2 soccer. Students competed well against some of the leading teams in the SSAF organization. Well done to all participants and a big thanks to all parent drivers for helping out with transportation to the events.
Grandparents Day May 18th
On Thursday May 18th, GAA students prepared a special ceremony for Grandparents’ Day! Students from each class presented significant events, poems and memories related to their grandparents and our recognition of their special place within the lives of students at GAA. Grandparents were invited for a visit to the classrooms after the conclusion of the ceremony, along with a refreshing glass of lemonade. Thank you to all of our GAA grandparents for helping enrich our lives!
Run Club Colour Run: May 18th
On Thursday May 18th, Run Club members participated in a Colour Run! They had colourful fun working together and showing their true colours in this exciting event!
International Day May 19th
On Friday May 19th, GAA hosted an International Day to celebrate the diverse cultures that make up our school community. Students brought in cultural dishes from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, and also dressed in their traditional cultural dress to showcase their unique cultural traditions.
