Virtual Arts Week a Great Success!

For the first time in the school’s history, Arts Week took place virtually from May 4 to 8, 2020. Thank you to everyone who shared their artistic talents in celebrating the arts at Appleby! Throughout the week a collection of amazing online content was shared with students and employees via Appleby Today. Below are some of the highlights that can be enjoyed again!

• Appleby's weekly virtual assembly video included an Arts Week feature, Creativity Through the Arts Fosters Wellbeing.

• Showcases of diverse Visual and Performing Arts student content (excellence from Visual Arts, Media, Strings, Vocal, Instrumental, Dance and Drama) were shared on May 5, May 6 and May 7.

• Arts Prefect and Senior Two student Bella Flaro presented her chapel speech.

• A spotlight on Appleby’s Senior Two artists included Senior Two visual art pieces, a portfolio video highlighting three Senior Two students, work completed in the Senior Two Communications Technology course and a collection of performances by Senior Two students in the arts.
