2. What do you do differently and uniquely well?
Our teacher supported courses assist and encourage students in the process of learning. In the high school we don't simply give information to the learners for them to memorize. Instead, Ontario eSchool invests most of their time and energy in creating the optimal conditions in which students make connections that constitute their own learning. This is a subtle, but important, shift that Ontario eSchool endeavours to incorporate in all their courses.

12. How will your school change in the next 5 years?
Gr. 12 (current) — Overall, my experience at Ontario eSchool Online High School has been positive. The flexibility of the online format has made it much easier to balance schoolwork with other commitments, and I've been able to move through material at a pace that actually works for me. The course platform is well organized and easy to navigate, and teachers have generally been responsive when I've reached out with questions, usually getting back to me within a day. That said, it did take some time to adjust to the self-directed nature of online learning, and a bit more built-in structure early on, like guided check-ins or a clearer weekly schedule, would have helped me build stronger study habits sooner. More live interaction with classmates would also make the experience feel less isolating. Overall, it's a solid option for students who do well with independence and want control over their schedule.
