I really enjoyed taking Grade 12 Advanced Functions through Ontario Virtual School because it worked well with my schedule and gave me the freedom to learn in a way that suited me. Math isn’t always easy for me, so being able to pause, go back, and review lessons as many times as I needed made a huge difference. I never felt rushed to move on before I understood a topic. The practice questions helped me build my confidence, and the feedback from my teacher showed me what I needed to improve. I also liked being able to work independently and stay organized at my own pace. Looking back, the course helped me become more confident in my math skills and taught me better study habits that I know will help me in the future.
The Best Part
The best part of being a student at Ontario Virtual School was the flexibility to learn at my own pace, review lessons anytime, and balance school with my responsibilities.
Suggested Improvements
One thing I think Ontario Virtual School could improve is offering more live review sessions or optional virtual classes where students can ask questions and work through challenging concepts together before tests and exams.

I think the leadership at Ontario Virtual School does a great job of creating a supportive and organized learning environment. The courses are well structured, and it is clear that they care about helping students succeed. I appreciate that the school provides flexible learning options while still maintaining high academic standards. The teachers and staff are helpful, respond to questions in a timely manner, and provide useful feedback. Overall, the leadership makes students feel supported and encourages them to achieve their goals.

I had a positive experience with my teacher throughout the Grade 12 Advanced Functions course. He was supportive, professional, and always provided clear, helpful feedback on my assignments. Whenever I needed extra clarification, I felt comfortable reaching out because he responded in a reasonable amount of time and explained concepts in a way that was easy to understand. His feedback helped me recognize my mistakes and improve my problem-solving skills. I also appreciated that he encouraged me to keep trying, even when the material became challenging. He played an important role in helping me stay motivated, build confidence, and succeed in the course.
