My experience with Ontario Virtual School has been very positive. I really liked how quickly assignments are marked, because I can get feedback without waiting too long. The lessons and assignments are formatted in a clear and simple way, which makes the courses easy to follow independently. I also like that there is lots of time to finish the course, so I can work at my own pace without feeling rushed. The tests are organized well, and the course structure is straightforward. One thing I wish I knew before starting is that final assessments are different depending on the course. Some courses only have a final exam, while others have both a final exam and a final task. Overall, I have had a great experience with Ontario Virtual School
The Best Part
The best part about being a student in Ontario Virtual School is being able to work at my own pace. I also like how quickly assignments are marked and how easy lessons are to follow.
Suggested Improvements
One improvement I would suggest is making it clearer, before starting a course, whether it has only a final exam or both a final exam and a final task. This would make it easier for students to plan their time and know what to expect.
Hidden Details
One hidden detail I noticed was the leaderboard. I found it funny and unexpected that a math course had a leaderboard, but it also made the course feel a little more interesting when I saw how many points I had compared to others.
