(5) Student Experience
I completed Grade 12 Biology through OVS and found it to be great! I loved the video format of the lessons and the fact that I could go at my own pace. This allowed me to balance my extracurricular activities and school. I was able to travel with my family over the summer and still work when I had downtime! The teachers were so kind and always available. I felt comfortable asking questions and asking for help when I needed it. The login and access to materials were so easy to follow. The marking of tests and assignments was fair and very prompt. I plan to take more courses through OVS and would recommend it to any students who need flexibility to balance extracurricular activities and school.
The Best Part
The best part was the flexibility in when I could work on the course and when I could focus on my extracurricular activities. This made my day so much easier to plan!
Suggested Improvements
I absolutely love OVS and would recommend it to anyone. I don’t have any improvements - my parents found the cost fair, and the timeline to finish the course was awesome.
Hidden Details
I don’t think there are any hidden surprises. Try OVS, and you will love it - I would even recommend it if you want to improve your learning and take a course a second time!
(5) School Leadership
The leaders were great, and everyone was easy to deal with. I emailed them directly, and everyone was so kind and clear in their communication. I had some questions for the counsellor, and she was super kind and copied my mom on all communication, so that made things easy. Everything worked out in the end, and everyone was on the same page. My brother took a course with OVS last year and also had a great experience with all the teachers and administration.
(5) Teaching
The teachers were so understanding and kind - there was support always available when I needed it. The textbooks were easy to understand, and the material was easy to go through and use. I wish all courses were this easy to understand and follow.

This was just the right amount of learning - not too hard or too easy. It was perfect for me.
