(4) Student Experience

I signed up for an online math course with OVS in order to get a credit for my day school, and I’d say this course was very organized and easy to navigate. My teacher got back to me quickly whenever I submitted a test or had a question, and the lessons were all easy to understand as well. I usually need every little thing about a concept to be explained to me so that I truly get it, and this course did a very good job of ensuring I had no confusion regarding what I was learning. I would definitely recommend OVS to anyone who needs a credit or wants to take an extra course. My only small nitpick is the price, but after taking the course, I can see that it was well worth it.

The Best Part

I would say the best part about OVS was the kindness of the teachers and admin. Everyone was very flexible, and everything from signing up for the course to the final exam process was made easy by their quick responses.

Suggested Improvements

I don’t have much criticism about the course, but I do wish that the captions were available on every video instead of only the ones where the teacher is talking about a concept. The videos that are demonstrations of how a concept works aren’t captioned, and I wish they were.

Hidden Details

I didn’t expect the units to be so short. Of course, I hadn’t expected them to take up every second of my day, but they were short enough that I was able to complete the course within my timeframe of a little more than a month.
