My overall experience with Ontario Virtual School was a good one. I was matched with Ms. Saliba, and she was wonderful in ensuring I had a fast turnaround anytime I submitted labs or took tests. She also gave constructive feedback on everything I submitted and mentioned areas where I could improve, which was great. Learning is self-paced, and you get one full year of access to the course you enrol in so you can finish as early or as late as you want. The school also makes learning fun by awarding points for every assignment, every lab and every attendance, and you can see how many points you have in relation to other learners in the same course. There is also an opportunity to be matched to a tutor if you are struggling with aspects of your learning.

The Best Part

It gives you the ability to study at your own pace, and you can finish a course in a month if you have the capacity and are in a time crunch.

Suggested Improvements

For me, the whole experience went smoothly, and there was nothing that stood out as undesirable. There is nothing I would want to change or improve.

Hidden Details

There were no surprises for me, as they let you know what to expect with the orientation course that is provided when you sign up.

The admission process was easy. Once you are able to provide the necessary prerequisites, you get admitted within 24 hours, and the school administration was quick to respond to my questions.
