My name is Abdul, and I recently completed MHF4U (Grade 12 Advanced Functions) with Ontario Virtual School, achieving a final grade of 99%. My overall experience with OVS was excellent. The video lessons were clear, well-organized, and easy to follow, making difficult math concepts much easier to understand. I appreciated the flexibility of learning at my own pace while balancing my other school courses. The assignments and assessments helped strengthen my understanding of each unit and prepared me for the final exam. The teachers were supportive, and the marking turnaround times were reasonable, allowing me to track my progress throughout the course. Overall, OVS provided a positive and effective learning experience. I would highly recommend Ontario Virtual School to students looking for flexible, quality online education.
The Best Part
The best part about being a student at Ontario Virtual School is the flexibility to learn at your own pace and manage your schedule. I really enjoyed how the video lessons were clear, organized, and easy to understand. Students can look forward to improving their grades, receiving support from teachers, and learning without the pressure of a traditional classroom. I especially appreciated being able to review lessons whenever I needed extra help. Overall, OVS makes learning convenient, enjoyable, and rewarding.
Suggested Improvements
One thing I wish Ontario Virtual School could improve is adding more interactive practice questions and review activities before tests and exams. Although the video lessons were clear and helpful, having additional practice opportunities would make it easier for students to strengthen their understanding of difficult concepts. Overall, my experience with OVS was excellent, and this small improvement could make learning even better for future students.

I always felt that the instructions were clear and that I understood what was expected of me. The video lessons and course materials made it easier to complete assignments successfully. I think teachers at OVS define success as students understanding the material, improving their knowledge, and achieving their academic goals. They encourage students to stay motivated, work independently, and take responsibility for their learning. Overall, I felt supported throughout the course, and the expectations helped me stay focused and achieve a 99% final grade.
