Private schools in Canada have admissions policies, and they require application materials. These may include letters of application, application fees, essays, and tests (such as the SSAT). Many schools also require interviews with prospective students. Schools also use different criteria for evaluating student applications, have different acceptance rates, and target different kinds of students. To improve your child’s chances of acceptance, find out everything you can about a school’s admissions policies and how they assess applicants.

In addition, at Rundle Academy one factor central to the success of our program is attributed to the narrow profile of our students, all of whom must be diagnosed with a learning disability and/or ADHD. The Academy's mandate is to prepare students for entry to post-secondary studies after high school. Unfortunately, we do not offer a program or have support for students diagnosed on the Autism spectrum.
Please note that applicants must demonstrate grade-appropriate proficiency in all facets of the English language in order to succeed academically and to fully participate in school life at Rundle College and Academy. We do not offer English as a Second Language (ESL) or English Language Learner (ELL) programs.
