We really appreciate how the focus has been on helping our child build both skill and confidence by offering the right resources along with regular and thoughtful feedback. What we truly value is that the learning process is not rushed. Our child has been able to move at a comfortable pace, which has made a big difference. It has taken away unnecessary pressure and allowed real understanding to develop. Over time, we have seen growing confidence and a genuine interest in the subject, which has been wonderful to watch. As a next step, we feel it would be even more helpful to have regular scheduled sessions with a teacher. This would provide consistent guidance and structure, ensuring our child continues to stay motivated and supported throughout the learning journey without always needing to ask for help.

What stands out to me about the broader community at Sunray Academy is how focused everything is on the students’ individual needs. As a parent, I have always felt comfortable reaching out and found the team to be very responsive and open whenever I had questions or concerns. Since the learning is one-on-one and virtual, there is understandably not much of a traditional parent community or group connection. That said, I do think it would be really nice to have more opportunities for parents to feel involved, such as occasional virtual meetups, regular updates, or even workshops. These kinds of activities could help parents feel more connected and engaged with the school. Overall, I have felt well supported and informed throughout, and I truly appreciate the calm and thoughtful approach the school takes with both students and their families.
