(5) Student Experience
Studying at Sunday Academy has been an amazing experience overall. I like that the school is flexible and allows me to study online at my own pace, which helps me balance school with other parts of my life. The teachers give clear instructions, and the lessons are easy to follow. One thing I wish I knew before starting is how much self-discipline online learning takes, since you have to manage your own time and stay motivated. I actually like working independently, so I appreciate that there isn’t too much live interaction or group work. If i could change one thing, i would add more practice materials to help prepare for tests. Other than that, Sunray Academy is a great fit for students who like learning on their own.
The Best Part
The best part about being a student at Sunray Academy is the flexibility. Students look forward to working at their own pace, studying independently, and finishing courses early while still getting high grades.
Suggested Improvements
One thing that could be improved at Sunray Academy is getting grades back faster after submitting assignments or tests. Waiting for results is always stressful and never easy. So, the faster the better.
Hidden Details
New students might be surprised by how independent Sunray Academy is. There are no live classes other than tutorials, so for the most part, a student's success depends solely on their self-discipline, time management skills, and watching full lessons and completing all assignments.
(5) School Leadership
I fully respect Sunray Academy’s leaders, teachers, and counsellors because they’re always kind, patient, supportive, and professional. They respond quickly and help when you reach out, which makes learning easier. I think they do a great job keeping everything organized and providing clear instructions for each course. However, I wish they gave more updates and quicker feedback on grades and progress. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to know how you’re doing in a course, and that can be stressful for students.
(5) Teaching
I think the teachers at Sunray Academy have pretty fair expectations. They don’t ask too much of you, but they do expect you to be responsible and independent. The lessons are clear, and the success criteria are explained in the rubrics or assignment instructions, so you usually know what to do. I think teachers imagine success as being organized, managing time well, and putting real effort into their work, and not just rushing to finish. They want students to understand the material, not just memorize it. Sometimes, though, it can be hard to know exactly how detailed they want answers to be since there aren’t live explanations. Overall, they want their students to succeed by being consistent, showing effort, and taking initiative in their learning.
(5) Academics
For me, the work at Sunray Academy feels just right. It’s not too easy or too hard, but it challenges me enough to think on a deeper level and improve my skills. Each course is designed in a way that helps you build real understanding instead of just memorizing information. I think what I’m learning will definitely be useful later in life because not only are the classes tailored to what I’m hoping to do in the future, but also because they teach discipline, organization, and independence, all skills that matter way beyond just school. The assignments also connect to real-world topics, like economics, communication, and problem-solving, which prepare you for university and future careers. Even when something feels difficult, it pushes me to manage my time better and figure out my own ways to understand concepts. And that’s exactly what makes the experience rewarding and important.
(5) School Life
If I were asked to give a tour of Sunray Academy, I’d start with the online portal because that’s where everything starts. It’s the main space where students can access lessons, track course progress, view the schedule, and submit assignments. I’d show visitors how clearly each course is organized and how easy it is to track progress and grades. Then I’d highlight how supportive the teachers and staff are through messages and email, even though everything is online. I’d explain how flexibility helps students learn at their own pace while still feeling guided. The portal shows what Sunray Academy is about, which is independent learning, clear structure, and constant support. That’s the first place I’d show anyone who wants to understand how the school works.
(5) Admissions
The admission process at Sunray Academy was simple and smooth. I remember meeting with the councillor, filling out my application and sending my transcripts online, which made everything quick and easy. It wasn’t stressful, just straightforward and organized. My advice to new applicants is to double-check your documents and ask questions if you’re unsure about anything. I didn’t realize at first how flexible the school schedule would be, so I’d tell others to take advantage of the independence once accepted.
