At The Learning Nest Academy, we start from a simple fact: 90% of a child's brain is developed by age five. What happens in these years isn't preparation for learning - it is the foundation for how a child will think, connect and understand the world for the rest of their life. As educators, we carry the responsibility of making the most of that window, providing the high-quality care that lets children feel safe enough to explore and the guidance that builds the confidence and capability they'll draw on for years to come.
Our roots are in Montessori and we've built from there - keeping what works, like following the child and learning through discovery and extending it to meet a world Maria Montessori never had to imagine.
Nest-EQ, our signature framework, is our answer to that world. It isn't guesswork. In 2025, MIT Sloan researchers identified five distinctly human capabilities AI cannot replicate - empathy, presence, judgment, creativity and vision and leadership. Nest-EQ was designed in direct response to that evidence. Every environment and every educator interaction at the Learning Nest Academy is structured to build the capabilities MIT identified as foundational to thriving alongside AI. This isn't a trend we're following. It's an architecture we've built and it begins in the earliest years, while those foundations are still being laid.
