(5) Student Experience

My kid has studied at Rotman Arts and Science School for 2 years since he was in grade 1. He has really enjoyed studying there. He is excited to go to school every day. I see that teachers are very supportive and dedicated. Teachers really understand and care for my child. Whenever I pick him up from school, I see that he is happy each day at school with teachers and friends. Teachers' skills and expertise are really great. My kid has achieved great academic results in math and literacy. He is happy whenever I ask him to open his books or go to school. I am happy with my decision to send my kid to Rothman Arts and Science School. I wish that I could send my kid to Roman earlier. However, I also wish that my kid could be given a little more homework to practice at home.

(5) School Leadership

Yes, I truly respect all the school leaders including the headmaster, the guidance counsellor and the teachers. They are all great, supportive and diligent. The headmaster has managed the school very well. The headmaster is always willing to meet parents. The teachers have done great jobs in teaching and inspiring kids. The teachers keep regular communications with parents so that parents can always know about their kids. The only thing I wish is that teachers could give kids a little bit more homework so that they would have less free time at home.

(5) Teaching

The teachers are great. They are appropriate, professional and devoted. I always know about teachers' expectations. Teachers have always inspired my kid to be happy and to become whoever he wants to be in the future. Teachers never impose judgment or prejudice on my kid. Teachers always mean good to my kid. I feel grateful to have such teachers for my kid. What teachers are directing my kid is exactly what I want for him. I only wish him happy and to become whoever he wants to be in the future as long as he is happy with who he is. I wish teachers would require my kid a little bit more so that he can try a bit more. But he is too small so I think teachers won't want to put pressure on him.

(5) Academics

The academic requirements and work are just right. I wish it could be a little bit harder so that I can challenge myself a little bit more. I think the knowledge I am gaining in school will be quite useful to me in practical life in the future because I am taught real-world lessons and skills. Although the majority of lessons are practical and useful, some of them are a bit theoretical and boring sometimes. I am especially not interested in literature and history. I know that understanding history may be of use but I also don't see much application in the future. Math is a great subject but some parts of it are also a bit irrelevant to real life. Anyway, I am still happy learning what I am taught.

(4.5) Extracurriculars

I love extracurricular activities because I know life is not only about academics but also other things. I joined the drama clubs because I love acting and interacting with other students who share this interest with me. I also love swimming and yoga. I wish the school would offer swimming and yoga clubs because swimming and yoga are not only good for physical but also mental health. Everyone has enough to do and is able to do the things they want to do.

(5) Students

Students are happy, satisfied and cared for. Active extrovert students will perform well because they always know exactly what they have to do and are required to do. Students who are shy, reserved and introverted may struggle a little bit because it may take time for them to get on with classmates and school activities. However, everyone feels included and appreciated because teachers pay attention to everyone, and special attention to those who need more care such as shy or left-behind students. So don't worry if you are a shy or introverted student because you will be cared for and soon you will feel confident enough to get into the vibrant student community. Other students also care for you and make you feel included and appreciated.

(5) School Life

I would love to be a tour guide to visitors who wish to visit my school. I would take them to visit the school campus first because it's where we spend most of our time. I would take them to visit our classrooms and our library. I want to show them the great facilities in each classroom. I also want to show the library where I really enjoy spending time. The library is so large and offers a wide range of reference books, enough for students to satisfy their learning need and curiosity. Then I will show visitors all outside areas around the campus. The outside areas are great for students to relax after hard learning hours. I think that I would be happy and proud to show my school campus to visitors.

(5) Community

I feel absolutely great, comfortable and warm. To me, the school feels like home because there I have loving and caring teachers, and good friends who I can share my school life with. I have never seen school bullies. Teachers care about my academic performance and even my mental health. If I don't feel right, teachers can talk to me individually to know the reasons and encourage me and console me. I see that everyone is included and appreciated, and no one is left behind. Everyone is cared for. If a student can't catch up in class, teachers can give him an extra lesson after class so that the student can understand the lesson and keep pace with the rest. Every student is really cared for and appreciated.

(5) School Location

I often go off campus, and hang out with friends because I am living in a vibrant area so going off campus to visit other places is great. During the day when I have to study at school, I have to stay on campus but when I don't have to study at school, I go off campus to visit other places in Toronto.
