    Boarding schools

Boarding schools are educational institutions that provide board and lodging for both their faculty and students. Once considered outdated and a privilege reserved for the elite, several have now become an affordable schooling alternative open to all seeking excellence in primary and secondary education.

Whether coeducational or not, a plethora of types exist that include Military, Special Needs, and Religious, or those that specialize in a specific field. The type of boarding school will determine the structure and content of the curriculum, with a higher teacher/staff to student ratio than public schools.

Outside of the classroom, a student can participate in an array of extracurricular activities offered by their school as they function within an educational setting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Core human values such as respect, time management and independence are learned with the support of their peers in a nurturing and safe environment for children in their formative years. These contribute to an individual suitably prepared for post secondary education, and life in general. Statistics have shown that students attending boarding school have far better success in all areas of academic and social life in the present and the future.

Prepare your child with a skill set ready for the world. Consider the boarding school alternative for your child's education.
