Cornerstone Montessori School - Surrey Reviews

Cornerstone Montessori School gives children a Montessori beginning, then introduces a more conventional academic structure as they grow. In the early years, hands-on materials and purposeful choice help children build concentration. Carefully prepared classrooms support independence. Later, instruction becomes more explicit and expectations become increasingly traditional. Yet students keep the habits of self-direction developed earlier. The school also brings a contemporary dimension to Montessori learning. Students gain experience with research and typing, along with coding and responsible technology use. This gradual progression makes Cornerstone distinctive. It avoids remaining strictly Montessori throughout, but does not shift abruptly into a conventional model. Small classes help teachers know each student well. The atmosphere feels caring while maintaining high expectations and extending the provincial curriculum. Families may appreciate how grace and courtesy sit alongside practical competence and modern academic fluency. Cornerstone suits families seeking Montessori values with a confident bridge toward structured secondary schooling.
