Apply for financial assistance at German International School Toronto
This school works with Apple Financial Inc. for processing financial applications The GIST awards tuition assistance in a limited number of cases taking into account the financial need of the student, as assessed by Apple Financial Services. Assistance is limited to a maximum 50% of the cost of tuition and does not apply to registration, acceptance and extended care fees. Eligibility will ultimately be determined at the full discretion of the Finance Committee of Board of Trustees.
In order to qualify for tuition assistance, an application through Apple Financial Services is required. Please register on their website and follow the instructions to file an application. Apple Financial Services will evaluate your application and make a recommendation to the Finance Committee of the GIST’s Board of Trustees. The final decision whether assistance will be granted will be taken by the Board of Trustees. The process usually takes between four to six weeks. All applications must be submitted by May 1st prior to the beginning of the school year for which you are applying. Since personal financial situations may change from year to year, financial assistance applications must be submitted on an annual basis.
