STEM is one of the pillars of the school. In our classrooms, girls occupy every seat, lead every lab group, and direct every project. There are no predefined limits on what they can achieve. STEM at JOA extends far beyond textbook learning. Visiting guest scientists host regular, hands-on workshops right in our classrooms, while curriculum-integrated trips to local science and technology museums and outdoor conservation areas bring environmental and applied sciences to life! Our annual STEM Fair showcases this passion in action. Intermediate students take their projects to the regional fair, consistently winning awards every year—with two students even advancing to the National Science Fair in the last few years!
