The quality of education they had at Kendellhurst Academy was, I would say, better than most schools at the time. They really pushed students to go above and beyond. The biggest thing I appreciate about a school is just the quality of the education system. The school individually focuses on each student. Each student can learn in their own way. I've seen many students thrive over time because the teachers care about every one of them, allowing them to grow in a comfortable environment.
Most of the teachers are very helpful, and they really care about the students. They take care of kids and their well-being. If you didn't understand anything, the teacher would try to help explain it to you, ensuring no one is left out. They've got a wide variety of teachers, which is nice to see, especially considering it's a private school. Despite its small size, there is a wide range of people to help you out.
Small class sizes at Kendellhurst Academy help students bond over many years, forming long-term relationships. Some classes are mixed together, allowing students to interact with more people they wouldn't normally see during their classes. This fosters a sense of community and connection among students.
Kendellhurst Academy's environment helped my confidence and shaped my personality and approach to things differently because of the caring environment. Staying there for many years had a significant impact on my education. Now that I'm older and going into high school, I understand and appreciate why they did a lot of things they did.
Kendellhurst Academy can allow Grade 8 students to take Grade 9 English and math-level courses. This gives them a head start when they go to high school. The school also invests in its students, having improved the technology over the years. They now have digital whiteboards and have recently adopted Chromebooks, which were introduced before COVID-19.
The overall school experience at Kendellhurst Academy was flawless. Any complaint would be minor nitpicks, like the school food. I think this is probably one of the best schools you can attend if you don't mind spending a little bit of money for quality education. It offers a great mix of individual focus, helpfulness, and understanding along with high-quality education.
To make as many friends as you can because chances are most people are going to stick around. Even if you're in a higher grade, there are still many people who stay each year. This allows you to make friends and connections easily.
