On December 14th, the 2017 Holiday Concert was presented to celebrate that time of year - the wonderful holiday season. All Bond students, parents and staff were invited to enjoy this cheerful annual performance on campus and get into the spirit of the season.
Montessori to Grade 8 students participated in the performances, including the Cheer Team, the Choirs and the Band. Students were playing a variety of challenging vocal and instrumental pieces during the concert, including: Marshmallow World, Hot Chocolate, Cold Snap, Snow Day and many more.
The most significant event of this year's concert was that students from Grades 5 to 8 had A Christmas Carol Readers' Theatre Presentation, adapted from the Novella by Charles Dickens in 1843. The class readings were interspersed with instrumental and vocal music, with the Senior Choir and the Band performing at the beginning and the end of the presentation.
Thank you to our talented Music teachers Mr. Allen and Mr. Herbison, award-winning Drama teacher Ms. Van Wyck, all the dedicated Bond’s staff and amazing students for producing such wonderful performances and making this evening a most memorable one in the festive season.
Happy Holidays! Enjoy a fabulous season!
