On Hallowe’en morning, we held our annual Hallowe'en Parade through the halls of Bond Academy. The parade started at 9 a.m. Students from Montessori, elementary and the secondary school arrived at school wearing their Hallowe'en costumes for the parade. There were Princesses Elsa and Anna, the Hulk, Spiderman and various aliens in the parade. Students collected candy and had lots of fun.
In the Bond secondary school, we had many activities this year. The week prior to Hallowe’en, the Grade 12 Business Leadership class hosted a Spooky Art Auction for fundraising and ticket promotion for the Hallowe'en Party on October 31st.
Students in class had fun, too. They took a chemistry class together with a “witch”. Ms. Samuel, their Chemistry teacher, had a brilliant idea and turned the chemistry class into a magical class teaching the students how to produce “potions”.
The day before Hallowe’en, Ms. Samuel organized a pumpkin carving contest. Students in groups of three carved Jack O' Lanterns. The winning group got an award and displayed their work at the Hallowe’en party.
Students enjoyed the Hallowe’en party very much. It was filled with music, dancing, refreshments and “Spooktacular” fun. It was a very impressive Hallowe’en at Bond.
