Last Thursday, November 26th, a veteran named Bobby Place from the Royal Canadian Legion visited Bond Academy to attend a special presentation to receive a donation from the Bond Junior Council.
During this presentation, Mr. Bobby Place spoke to the council about what the Legion does for the war veterans and their families. The Junior Council at Bond had a bake sale last week and donated the funds from the sale to the Legion to support the veterans and their families.
Bond Junior Council looks forward to supporting the veteran’s fund more in the future.
