Do you like experiments? Would you like to know the secrets behind magical Science? On Jan. 28th, Bond Academy students had the opportunity to experience a fantastic hands-on Science Show provided by “Mad Science” of Toronto.
With a mission to spark the imagination and curiosity of children, “Mad Science” transforms laboratory science into a fun, interactive and educational learning experience for kids. During the one-hour Fire and Ice Show, Bond students were amazed by the cool effects of the dry ice, as well as how science affects the world.
Bond students were also encouraged by the instructor to try the science experiment themselves. They gathered around the Fun Stations to touch, see and feel science for themselves by learning how to make “Mad Science” Putty in the colours of the rainbow, transform special crystals into super bouncy balls, and create their own key chains or bracelets with ultraviolet detection beads.
