On April 8th, students from Bond’s Elementary and Secondary school participated in the annual Bowling Tournament.
This year is the 10th anniversary of the Bowling Tournament. According to the organizer of this event, over one hundred (100) bowlers attended this year’s event compared to only a dozen bowlers in the initial year of the event. Students representing various private schools in the GTA were mixed across the bowling lanes.
“It is a great way to meet people, especially for the students. They have the opportunity of getting to know one another while they bowl”, said Mr. Carney, Athletics Director at Bond. “Mr. Boldt and I also participated, along with some teachers from other schools. I think we all consider this event more like a fun gathering than a competition.”
Congratulations to Mr. Boldt for getting the third highest score among all the supervisors in attendance this year!
Congratulations, also, to Alexander (a Grade 6 student) and Spencer (a Grade 11 student) on winning the lucky draw prize!
