CCIA students had the opportunity to spend two days, and one night at Cedar Glen Outdoor Camp on Monday October 3rd and Tuesday October 4th, 2016. Our students participated in a variety of leadership initiatives, developed an appreciation of the natural environment, and worked together as a team with their fellow classmates. Some of the leadership activities included fire building, map orienteering, archery, high ropes & low ropes, as well as outdoor mazes and team challenges. Our students learned about teamwork, accountability, and most of all many were brave enough to face difficult challenges. Thanks to Bellows and Strider, our camp guides, for their expertise, encouragment, and enthusiasm. They inspired our students to discover and enhance their own abilities.
