On May 11th, a special guest, Nikkita Holder, came to Bond and gave our Elementary students an inspiring workshop.
Nikkita Holder, started her training of the 100 meter hurdles at the age of seven. She is a Canadian track and field athlete who won the bronze medal at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto.
Bond students were so excited to meet Ms. Holder and listened to her experiences of being trained to become an athlete, and competing against other great athletes at different games. She also explained how to prepare for competition. Ms. Holder then shared some professional tips for our students who will be participating in a Track and Field Meet the next day.
A big thank you to Ms. Holder for taking the time to visit Bond and to share her story with our students.
