Northstar Montessori has their own in-house indoor pool, Northstar Aquatics. Students can now receive year round swimming instruction that is based on the Montessori philosophy by instructors with a competitive swim background. Swimmer goals can be achieved much sooner as instructors follow their strengths and weaknesses in each stroke and strive to improve it each session. Instructors take anecdotal notes of each child and make necessary changes in their training as opposed to following a set cycle for each level. In addition, Northstar is also able to offer this swim program to the general public after hours and weekends. Various and exclusive programs are available from beginner level up to competitive level, as well as, leadership courses that lead to lifeguarding.
