Académie de la Capitale is a bilingual IB World School for grades Pre-K to Gr. 12, offering the IB PYP, the PSSP, as well as an Ontario-Inspected Secondary School. Online and/or in person, we offer year-round educational programmes, camps and courses.
Our open house is an interactive and personal way to learn more about the school and meet its team of educators.
LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Our approach to learning transcends the boundaries generally imposed by grade, ability or subject. Our iSTEAM-Maker learning environment paired with an open floor plan is designed to promote this constructive interaction, along with the respectful collaboration of students and teachers.
SPECIALTY ACTIVITIES
Not only do we host a diverse set of in-house specialty courses, including international languages, violin/music, math enrichment, performing and visual arts, and jiu-jitsu, we also accommodate extracurricular activities such as robotics, coding, Maker Lab, and chess, among others.
21st CENTURY LEARNING
From preschool to secondary school, students will journey towards a comprehensive understanding of informational technology, computational and collaborative problem-solving. Along the way, these core capacities will be put into practice with the goal of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.
