Alive Montessori has three certified Montessori teachers on staff. We run a full Montessori program from preschool through senior Kindergarten. Grade one and on Montessori materials and principles are still used, but also work with the Canadian curriculum to ease the transition if the child goes into the public system at some point.
We focus on the basics and would be teaching your child to read as soon as they enter the school. Our expectation is that your child will be reading within their first year of attending our school.
We have two professional music and visual arts teachers on our full-time staff. We have various professionals working with our school such as an actress, Russian ballet instructor, gymnastics teacher, Salsa dancer, and martial arts/physical education teacher who comes in every week.
Our emphasis is on the Basics of Reading, Writing and Math to give a solid grounding for all other learning. Watch your child's confidence grow as he or she demonstrates competence and ability. FASTER LEARNING....MADE FUN!
