In our continuing quest to provide a superb education to your children, we are very happy to introduce the following new staff for the 2016/2017 school year.
VIBHA DEVASHER (Vice Principal)
- I have had the pleasure of working with Vibha in the past until unfortunate circumstances interrupted our association for a few years. We are both glad to be working together again on our mutual goal of getting children off to a wonderful start to their education. She cares deeply about children and is an able administrator to take care of the many organizational and administrative functions needed to run the school efficiently.
KATHERINE FIGUERRES (Elementary Teacher)
- We are very pleased to introduce Katherine as our new elementary teacher. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, but her real passion is for teaching. She brings an enthusiasm and creativeness to keep the children engaged and having fun while learning.
VAL HILL (Quality Control Specialist and Teacher, Art Teacher)
- Val has over 15 years experience as Head Secretary with the Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board, managing schools with over 1,000 children. She is WSIB certified as a Health & Safety representative knowledgeable in First Aid. With specialized training on study methods, child counselling and tutoring, she brings a wealth of experience to continually upgrade standards at our school. She will be assisting in both the elementary and kindergarten programs and, as an accomplished artist, will bring a professional approach to art instruction.
KRISZTINA NEMETH (Music and French Teacher)
- Krisztina is a recent graduate from the Conservatory of Music in my native Hungary and will be taking over the music program. She will also be teaching French, one of the four languages she speaks fluently.
VOLUNTEERS FROM THE DAN ROBERTS COLLEGE:
- We are pleased to continue our relationship with Dan Roberts College; they are providing student teachers gaining experience as they work towards receiving their diplomas as Registered Early Childhood Educators.
