From August 8th - 25th, TFMS will be offering a Summer School program that includes: French, Math, Science, and Music in the morning and sports in the afternoon.
Our programs will allow the children to refresh and reinforce their existing French, English, Math and Science knowledge, and will give the children the opportunity to learn and/or consolidate their knowledge in music.
Summer School
Our Language program in both English and French, which also includes Math and Science allows the children to refresh and reinforce their existing knowledge. They will have spelling, vocabulary and writing. They will also participate in debates and presentations. The program will also have a fun component, learning the language by introducing new songs and song interpretations. There will be a variety of games for children to play in order to promote and practice their oral/speaking skills. The children will continue to learn about and refresh the Math & Science knowledge that they learned during the school year. This is a great opportunity for your children to continue with their Montessori education while enjoying their summer vacation!
Elementary Music Camp
Children will meet friends while exploring activity through music. During the week children will work in a music environment, led by a professional musician where listening and practising skills are part of the daily routine. Learning a new musical instrument will develop a valuable skill that could potentially give pleasure for the rest of the child’s life. At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to perform their learned skills for their parents during a group performance.
Musical instruments include: clarinets, flutes, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, percussion.
Our sport activities are not limited to floor hockey, European handball, basketball, soccer or dodgeball.
Sports
Children enjoy indoor games in the gym and outdoor adventures in a nearby park. They can learn new techniques and improve their abilities. This is a fun filled experience for all participants.
