On Thursday, June 4th, Bond Drama Club performed a play named " Tempest ".
Directed by Mark Rodrigues, 15 casts, 14 chorus members and 4 crews participated the performance and 60 parents and teachers enjoyed the show as the audiences.
"The show is about a woman named Prospera who used to be Duchess of Milan, but has since been stripped of her title and exiled with her daughter Miranda to a remote island. Prospera, with her magical abilities, creates a tempest to bring a ship carrying the nobles who have wronged her to her island. The whole play takes place on this island, where Miranda falls for a marooned prince, Prospera's slave Caliban conspires with a jester and a drunken butler to overthrow his master, and Prospera aims to take back her title from her sister Antonia. Meanwhile, Ariel and the other spirits of the island create a mysterious, magical atmosphere that amazes all the guests of the island", the synopsis introduced by the director, Mark Rodrigues.
Teamwork contributed to the successful performance and every one did a good job!
